Here are a few of my favorite youth ministry books.  You can find almost 1800 resources at YMbookstore.com which carries all major publishers in one place:

Mark DeVries gift to the world of youth ministry.  Don’t miss out on all the wisdom in this book and buy two copies, because your senior pastor needs to read it for your sake.
Kenda’s Intro and first chapter get me really fired up.  Some great insights into a deep theological understanding of youth ministry.
I miss this guy.  His stories make me life, his genuineness makes me smile, and his love for God was huge.
Kenda’s first book, it is worth the read just to learn about finger pointing.
Chris takes a look at moving out of the 70’s model of youth ministry to one that deepens and strengthens faith.
Must read – our youth are hungry for a Christianity that cares.
Theologially – I love this book and it is such an easy read.  I want every youth to know the principles of grace in this book.
I stumbled upon this little book of devotions and found them to be a great resource on trips for late night devotions.
